I use these containers every Christmas for food gifts. I have been using these for years. I did notice that the description for the product stated 4 containers but if you look at the picture the package does state 3 medium square containers.

As other reviewers mentioned, the description lists 4 containers and previous years (I buy every year to mail Christmas cookies back home) have always contained 4, though this year they only contained 3 so I ended up having to run back to the store for more.
